The Clutch Masters FW-230-AL aluminum flywheel is engineered to significantly reduce rotating mass, allowing the 2.3L EcoBoost engine to rev more freely and respond faster to throttle inputs. By decreasing the moment of inertia, this lightweight flywheel helps reduce turbo lag and improves overall drivetrain performance during aggressive shifting and acceleration. Each unit is CNC machined for precise tolerances and precision balanced to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation at high RPMs.
Designed for long-term serviceability, it features a replaceable steel insert friction surface. This design eliminates the need for time-consuming flywheel resurfacing; you can simply replace the steel insert when performing a clutch service. For track-ready safety and reliability, this flywheel is SFI Certified.
