The Cobb LF (Lightweight/Fast) By-Pass Valve is a precision-engineered performance upgrade designed to replace the factory plastic unit. Where the original equipment can often leak boost or respond sluggishly, the LF BPV utilizes a fast-acting piston design to ensure immediate response and reliable boost pressure retention. This component is essential for maintaining turbocharger efficiency and improving overall throttle response during gear changes and deceleration.
CNC machined for exact tolerances, this valve bolts directly to the factory mounting locations and maintains the stock recirculation configuration. This ensures that metered air stays within the system, preventing the stalling or rich-running conditions often associated with atmosphere-venting valves.
