By utilizing a 3-port design, this solenoid allows for more precise control over the wastegate actuator, resulting in faster boost onset and more stable target boost levels across the RPM range. It is an essential component for tuned vehicles running increased boost pressures where factory control often reaches its limits.
Designed for a clean installation, the Cobb EBCS (MPN 714750) features a custom wiring harness that plugs directly into the factory Subaru connector without any splicing or soldering required. The unit is constructed for durability and consistent performance under high engine bay temperatures.
