Fits select 2003-2014 Subaru Baja, Forester, Impreza (WRX / STI), Legacy, and Outback equipped with EJ255 or EJ257 turbocharged engines.
The Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output Subaru EJ-series engines. Engineered with three to five layers of stainless steel, this gasket offers superior strength, corrosion resistance, and the ability to rebound under the extreme cylinder pressures of forced induction. The outer layers are embossed and finished with a heat-resistant Viton rubber coating, rated to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal across various surface finishes and load conditions.
This design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, which reduces bore distortion and helps maintain consistent load distribution across the entire sealing area. Whether you are performing a standard rebuild or a high-performance build, Cometic MLS gaskets provide the durability needed for the EJ255 and EJ257 platforms.
