Constructed from Aluminum Foam Material (AFM), it features a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber layer bonded to a rigid aluminum core. This advanced composite design allows for an 85% recovery rate, ensuring a consistent seal even under thermal cycling while maintaining superior torque retention.
Unlike standard paper gaskets, this AFM gasket does not require liquid sealants or post-installation re-torquing, making it an ideal choice for both routine maintenance and trackside repairs.
