The Cometic MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) head gasket is engineered to provide a superior combustion seal for high-performance applications. This LHS (Left Hand Side) gasket features a multi-layer stainless steel construction for maximum strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. The design includes an integrated stopper layer to improve clamp load around the cylinder without increasing bore distortion.
The outer layers are embossed and finished with a specialized Viton rubber coating, designed to withstand the thermal stress of high-output engines and ensure a reliable seal across various surface finishes.
