Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gaskets provide a superior seal for high-performance 5.0L Coyote engines. Constructed from three to five layers of high-grade stainless steel, this gasket is engineered for maximum strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are embossed and dual-coated with a Viton rubber material to satisfy the requirements of harsh sealing environments and varied surface finishes. This Viton coating remains stable and effective at temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).
- Requires less clamp load, resulting in reduced cylinder bore distortion.
- Provides uniform load distribution across the entire sealing surface.
- Shim layer allows for varied thickness requirements while maintaining structural integrity.
- Designed to withstand the extreme cylinder pressures of modern performance engines.
