Constructed from layers of stainless steel, it features embossed outer layers coated with Viton to ensure a reliable seal against harsh combustion environments and various surface finishes. The stainless steel shim layer allows for precise thickness control, while the design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, reducing cylinder bore distortion for better ring seal.
