Fits 1992-2006 Dodge Viper (Base, ACR, GT2, GTS, R/T-10, SRT-10) and 1996-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Base models. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output V10 engines without the need for additional sealants.
Designed to withstand the intense shearing forces created by different expansion rates in aluminum-to-iron or aluminum-to-aluminum engine assemblies, this gasket features multiple layers of embossed stainless steel. The outer layers are coated on both sides with a Viton fluoroelastomer rubber, which is heat resistant to 250°C (482°F) and engineered to conform to various surface finishes. The MLS design requires less clamp load than composite gaskets, which helps reduce cylinder bore distortion and ensures even load distribution across the entire sealing area.
