Fits select 2003-2015 Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles equipped with the 5.7L Hemi engine. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide a superior seal for high-output engines, requiring no additional sealants during installation.
Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, this gasket is designed to withstand the shearing forces found in modern engine blocks, making it compatible with both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron mating surfaces. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a specialized fluoroelastomer that is heat-resistant up to 250°C (482°F). This construction allows the gasket to rebound and resist corrosion while conforming to surface finishes for a reliable, leak-free seal.
