The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket is engineered for high-output Hemi engines that demand superior sealing under extreme conditions. Constructed from multiple layers of embossed stainless steel, these gaskets provide increased structural strength and the ability to rebound, resisting the corrosion and shearing forces common in both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-iron block configurations. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a high-performance fluoroelastomer that is heat resistant up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal across various surface finishes and load conditions.
