Fits 1992-2000 Honda Civic and 1993-1997 Honda Civic del Sol. This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output Honda SOHC engines without the need for additional sealants.
Constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, this gasket is designed to withstand the shearing forces created by different thermal expansion rates between aluminum heads and cast iron or aluminum blocks. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber capable of resisting temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring a reliable seal in harsh environments and varying surface finishes. The center shim layer is uncoated stainless steel, allowing for precise compressed thickness and the ability to rebound under pressure.
