The Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) Head Gasket provides superior sealing performance for high-output engines without the need for additional sealants. Engineered to withstand the extreme shearing forces between aluminum heads and cast iron or aluminum blocks, this gasket is built from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel to ensure long-term durability and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), allowing it to conform to various surface finishes and load conditions.
