Fits select 1988-2001 Honda CR-V and Prelude models. This gasket is specifically engineered for LS/VTEC and B20/VTEC hybrid engine builds, allowing for the installation of a VTEC cylinder head onto a non-VTEC block.
Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for high-output engines without the need for additional sealants. The MLS design is ideal for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron mating surfaces, effectively withstanding the shearing forces created by different material expansion rates. The multi-layer stainless steel construction provides increased strength and the ability to rebound, ensuring a long-lasting seal even under high combustion pressures.
