Fits select 2002-2014 Acura RSX and Honda Accord, Civic Si, CR-V, and Element models (K20/K24 engines).
The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) Head Gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for high-output Honda K-series engines. This gasket consists of three or more layers of stainless steel, providing superior strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are embossed and coated on both sides with Viton, a fluroelastomer rubber-based material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).
Designed to handle the shearing forces between aluminum heads and blocks (or cast iron blocks), the MLS design requires less clamp load, which reduces bore distortion while ensuring a consistent seal across the entire surface. This gasket requires no additional sealants for installation, making it a professional-grade solution for forced induction or high-compression naturally aspirated builds.
