Cometic 4G63/T 87mm .051" MLS Head Gasket for 1989-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse/Galant and Eagle Talon

This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides maximum sealing performance for high-output 4G63/T engines. It is designed to withstand the extreme cylinder pressures of forced induction and high-compression builds without the need for additional sealants. The gasket fits select 1989-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, Galant, and Eagle Talon models.

Engineered for durability, the gasket consists of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber capable of resisting temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). This construction allows the gasket to rebound and resist the shearing forces created by the different thermal expansion rates of aluminum heads and cast iron blocks. The 0.051" thickness and 87mm bore make this an ideal choice for performance builds requiring precise compression and bore clearance.
