Fits 1998-1999 Subaru Forester, Impreza RS, and Legacy models equipped with the EJ25 DOHC 16V engine.
This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket provides a superior seal for high-performance Subaru EJ25 builds. Engineered with three to five layers of stainless steel, this gasket offers exceptional strength and the ability to rebound under varying load conditions. The outer layers are embossed and coated with a specialized Viton rubber material, designed to withstand temperatures up to 250°C (482°F) while conforming to different surface finishes.
Cometic’s MLS design requires less clamp load than traditional gaskets, which helps reduce bore distortion and ensures even load distribution across the sealing surface. Whether you are performing a standard rebuild or a performance upgrade, these gaskets provide the corrosion resistance and durability required for the EJ25 cooling and combustion systems.
