The Cometic MLX (Multi-Layer Stopper) head gasket is engineered to provide superior combustion chamber sealing for Subaru EJ25 builds. Featuring an integrated stopper layer, this gasket increases clamp load around the cylinder bore to ensure a tight seal under high combustion pressures without increasing bore distortion. This advanced construction eliminates the need for sealants or re-torquing after installation.
Each gasket is manufactured from multiple embossed layers of high-grade stainless steel for maximum durability and resilience. The outer layers are coated with a specialized Viton rubber to maintain a reliable seal for oil and coolant passages across varying temperature cycles.
