The Competition Clutch Stage 4 Sprung Strip Series 1620 Clutch Kit is engineered for high-horsepower street and track applications that demand aggressive engagement and a massive increase in torque capacity. This kit provides up to a 250% increase in torque capacity over the stock unit, specifically designed to handle the increased output of modified 4G63 engines.
The 1620 Series features a six-puck high-torque sprung disc fitted with premium ceramic buttons. The ceramic material provides the heat resistance and friction required for rapid engagement, while the sprung hub design helps dampen drivetrain shock during hard shifts. Every kit includes a performance pressure plate designed for significantly higher clamping force while maintaining a manageable pedal feel.
