The Competition Clutch Stage 4 Strip Series 1620 clutch kit is engineered for high-horsepower street and strip applications where rapid engagement and high heat resistance are required. This kit provides a significant 250% increase in torque capacity over stock, making it an ideal choice for forced induction or heavily modified naturally aspirated B-series and B20 engines.
The heart of this system is the 1620 Series six-puck high-torque sprung disc. Featuring premium ceramic buttons, this disc provides the aggressive bite needed for competition while the sprung hub design helps dampen driveline shock during hard shifts. Each kit includes a heavy-duty performance pressure plate specifically matched to the ceramic friction material for consistent pedal feel and maximum clamping force.
