Unlike traditional "O" shaped tubes, B-tubes are formed and seam-brazed into a "B" shape, increasing the heat transfer surface area by approximately 15%. This design allows for thinner, lighter aluminum without sacrificing structural integrity, providing the cooling efficiency of two smaller tubes within a single-core footprint.
