Track-driven FL5 Type Rs often struggle with heat soak when stacking coolers in front of the radiator. CSF’s High-Performance Dual Engine Oil Cooler Kit (MPN 8343) solves this by utilizing the sides of the front bumper for optimal airflow without compromising the cooling capacity of the radiator or aftermarket intercoolers. This kit features dual #8119 high-performance dual-pass oil coolers, increasing total system capacity by over 2 quarts (2 liters) for significantly improved thermal stability during hard use.
Engineered for professional-grade reliability, the kit includes a CNC billet sandwich plate with an integrated 175-195°F (80-90°C) thermostat and a 1/8 NPT port for oil temperature sensors. Airflow is optimized via pre-preg carbon fiber bumper vents and laser-cut louvered fender liner vents, ensuring maximum heat extraction through the wheel wells. All plumbing is handled by motorsports-grade DYME PSI AN lines featuring patented quick-release fittings for ease of maintenance.
