The Cusco Type RS Limited Slip Differential (LSD) is engineered for high-performance traction and durability. Unlike traditional LSDs that use cone springs, the Type RS utilizes coil springs to provide lower initial torque and faster engagement. This design reduces friction and wear while delivering a more linear and responsive power transfer, making it ideal for competitive track use or aggressive street driving.
This unit is specifically designed for the R180 rear differential housing found in the GD-series STI. It features adjustable pressure rings, allowing the installer to switch between 1.5-way and 2-way configurations to suit specific driving styles and track conditions.
