This DeatschWerks 8AN black nylon braided PTFE hose (MPN 6-02-0865-20) is engineered for high-performance fuel plumbing where durability and chemical resistance are critical. Measuring 20 feet in length, this hose features a PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) inner core, which is fully compatible with modern fuels including E85, methanol, and race gas. Unlike standard rubber-lined hoses, the PTFE core prevents fuel vapor permeation, eliminating the gas smell often found with traditional braided lines.
The outer layer is constructed from a robust black nylon braid, providing excellent abrasion resistance and a clean, stealthy appearance in the engine bay. It remains flexible enough for complex routing while maintaining integrity under high pressure.
