The DEI Cell Saver Battery Insulation Kit (MPN 10480) provides a dual-layer defense against the leading causes of battery failure: extreme radiant heat and excessive vibration. This kit is designed to wrap the battery casing in a thermal barrier capable of withstanding radiant temperatures up to 2,000°F, preventing heat soak that degrades battery chemistry and shortened service life.
The system also includes a treated base mat designed to trap and neutralize corrosive battery acid, protecting your vehicle's battery tray and engine bay from electrolyte damage. The material is completely safe to handle during installation and can be easily trimmed to provide a custom fit for most battery sizes and configurations.
