The DEI Fire Sleeve (92473) provides a professional-grade fireproof solution to protect critical fuel, transmission, and brake lines from extreme heat and abrasions. Constructed from high-temperature braided fiberglass and heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber, this 3/4" I.D. sleeve provides reliable thermal insulation for sensitive components in the harshest engine bay environments.
- Thermal Performance: Designed to withstand 500°F (260°C) continuous exposure and up to 2000°F (1093°C) of intermittent heat.
- Rugged Construction: The silicone-coated glass material is resistant to chemicals, moisture, and abrasion while offering burn protection for technicians during maintenance.
- Installation Flexibility: The sleeve material allows for 1/16" to 1/8" of stretch, making it easier to slide over existing fittings and connectors.
- Applications: Suitable for bundling wiring harnesses and protecting oil, brake, and transmission lines from radiant heat.
