Protect critical fluid lines and electrical harnesses from extreme engine bay heat and abrasion with the DEI Fire Sleeve. This 3/8-inch I.D. thermal insulator is constructed from a high-temperature resistant braided glass material, heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber. It provides a professional, fireproof solution for fuel, transmission, and brake lines, while also offering burn protection for technicians during under-hood maintenance.
- Heat Protection: Withstands 500°F (260°C) continuous radiant heat and up to 2000°F (1093°C) of intermittent heat exposure.
- Construction: Heavy-duty braided fiberglass sleeve with a thick silicone rubber coating for maximum insulation and fluid resistance.
- Versatility: Ideal for bundling wiring, hoses, and oil/brake/transmission lines to prevent vapor lock and wire degradation.
- Sizing & Fitment: This 3/8" I.D. sleeve (Part #92470) is designed for 3AN, 4AN, and 6AN lines. Note that 6AN lines may be a tight fit; the material allows for 1/16" to 1/8" of stretch to accommodate existing fittings.
