Protect critical engine components from heat damage and abrasion with the DEI Fire Sleeve and Tape Kit. This professional-grade thermal insulator is designed to shield fuel lines, transmission lines, brake lines, and electrical wiring from extreme under-hood temperatures and potential fire hazards. The sleeve is constructed from high-temperature braided glass material coated with a thick layer of 100% iron oxide silicone rubber for maximum heat rejection and durability.
- Temperature Resistance: Withstands up to 500°F (260°C) of continuous direct heat and up to 2000°F (1093°C) of intermittent heat.
- Construction: Braided fiberglass inner core with a heavy silicone rubber outer coating for moisture and chemical resistance.
- Kit Includes: One 3/4-inch I.D. x 3-foot Fire Sleeve and 16 inches of black Fire Tape (self-adhering, adhesive-free) for securing and finishing the ends.
- Versatile Protection: Ideal for bundling wiring harnesses or protecting fluid lines from manifold heat and physical wear.
- Fitment Note: The 3/4" I.D. material offers approximately 1/16" to 1/8" of stretch to accommodate fittings during installation.
