The DEI Gen-3 Onyx Series T3 Turbo Shield (MPN 10267) is a professional-grade thermal management solution designed to contain extreme exhaust heat within the turbocharger housing. By isolating this heat, the shield protects sensitive under-hood components and improves exhaust gas velocity to reduce turbo lag.
- Advanced Multi-Layer Construction: Features a silicone-coated Onyx Black outer shell that is over four times stronger than standard shields to prevent fraying and seam failure.
- Premium Insulation: A thick inner layer of silica provides exceptionally low thermal conductivity to maintain housing temperatures.
- High-Temp Durability: The inner cover utilizes stainless steel fabric and glass fiber that remains flexible and will not become brittle under extreme heat cycles.
- Secure Fitment: Built with integrated riveted anchors for a reliable, tight installation using safety wire or springs.
- Specifications: Sized for T3 housings with a 15" to 16" circumference and a 2.5" width (excluding flanges).
