Protect critical lines, hoses, and wiring from the destructive effects of extreme heat and abrasion with the DEI Heat Sheath (MPN 10419). This aluminized sleeving is designed to slide over components, providing a barrier against radiant heat, chemical spills, oil, and road grime. Constructed from 19 oz high-temperature glass fiber insulation bonded to a reflective aluminum surface, it is sewn with aramid thread for maximum durability and flame resistance.
- Reflects up to 2000°F of radiant heat
- Withstands up to 500°F of direct, continuous heat
- 1-inch inner diameter by 3-foot length
- Pliable material for easy routing through tight bends
- Fireproof and resistant to oil, grease, and contaminants

The Heat Sheath is a slide-on solution that requires unhooking one end of the line or hose for installation. It can be easily trimmed to the exact length needed. Note: Do not apply this product directly to exhaust components.
