Protect your ignition system from extreme under-hood temperatures with the DEI Titanium Protect-A-Boot and Wire Kit. Engineered for 8-cylinder engines, this kit (MPN 10705) utilizes proprietary LR technology—a unique material derived from lava rock that is woven into a high-strength, pliable fabric. These boots are designed to withstand direct heat up to 1800°F (982°C), preventing the hardening, cracking, and burning that lead to ignition arcing and engine misfires.
- Extreme Heat Resistance: Woven basalt fiber construction handles up to 1800°F direct heat and 2500°F radiant heat.
- Universal Fitment: 6-inch double-wall boots are pliable enough to fit straight or angled boots on wire sizes up to 8mm.
- Complete Protection: Includes 25 feet of Protect-A-Wire sleeving to shield wires from exhaust manifold and header heat.
- Durable Construction: Naturally resistant to chemicals, abrasions, and contaminants with a carbon-fiber-style aesthetic.
