The DEI Onyx Series Wastegate Shield (10143) provides critical thermal management for high-performance turbocharger systems. Engineered to contain extreme radiant heat at the source, this shield significantly reduces underhood temperatures, protecting sensitive engine components, wiring, and hoses from heat soak. The stealthy Onyx series finish offers a clean, professional look while delivering the same high-temperature performance as DEI Titanium shields.
Construction features a rugged outer layer with multiple internal layers of stainless steel and silica insulation. This multi-layer design ensures the shield remains durable under extreme thermal cycling. The integrated riveted tie-downs and included stainless steel wire provide a secure, slip-free installation on the wastegate body.
