To ensure a quiet and smooth interface with the parking brake drum, these shoes are precision arc ground for an exact fitment that eliminates dragging or uneven wear. The friction material is secured using OE-specified bonding or riveting methods, with specialized glue lining treatments to ensure a permanent bond between the friction material and the steel backing.
