Each rod is manufactured from a two-piece 4340 steel forging to ensure consistent grain flow and maximum strength. The surfaces are fully machined and shot-peened to relieve stress and improve fatigue life, making them a reliable choice for competition use and high-boost applications.
These rods are sold as a weight-matched set and held to exact sizing tolerances to ensure consistent engine assembly. To handle increased power-handling requirements, this set comes equipped with premium ARP 2000 rod bolts.
