These rods are manufactured from a two-piece 4340 forged steel process, providing superior strength over factory components. This specific set features a longer-than-stock rod length, making it a critical component for custom engine builds requiring specific rod-to-stroke ratios or deck height adjustments.
Every rod undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including full machining and shot-peening to reduce surface stress and improve fatigue life. To ensure the stability of your rotating assembly, these rods are sold as a weight-matched set. They come equipped with high-tensile ARP 2000 bolts to handle increased cylinder pressures and higher RPM ranges.
