EBC GD Sport Series rotors are engineered for trucks and SUVs that require improved cooling and debris management. These rotors feature wide-aperture slots that draw cool air into the braking zone, significantly reducing temperatures and preventing brake fade under heavy loads or towing conditions. Unlike traditional cross-drilled rotors, the GD series uses blind-drilled dimples to allow for pad outgassing without compromising the structural integrity of the rotor, effectively eliminating the risk of stress cracks.
Precision-cast from OE-spec grey iron, each rotor undergoes rigorous testing for tensile strength, grain structure, and hardness. The gold anodized finish provides essential corrosion resistance for import applications while maintaining a performance-oriented aesthetic behind the wheels.
