This synthetic fiber compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while remaining extremely quiet. Redstuff is specifically designed to minimize brake dust, reducing wheel contamination by 60% to 90% compared to semi-metallic pads. Any minimal dust produced is non-metallic, meaning it won't etch into wheel finishes and can be easily washed away.

These pads feature EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Designed for repeated heavy braking without significant heat fade, Redstuff pads offer improved stopping power from cold and even greater performance as they reach operating temperature. Please note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles of patient driving to properly mate with the rotor surface.
