EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium luxury sedans. Utilizing a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads are specifically designed to reduce brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads. Because the compound contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily removed with standard wheel cleaners.
Redstuff pads provide a high-friction bite from cold, matching or exceeding OE performance immediately, and continue to improve as they reach operating temperature. Each pad set includes EBC’s proprietary "Brake-In" surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the seating process. As a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to reach full performance capacity and conform to the rotor shape.
