EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high 0.5 nominal friction coefficient while significantly reducing brake dust by up to 60-90% compared to standard pads. Because the compound contains no steel fiber particles, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily removed with a simple wash.
Designed for repeated heavy braking, these pads feature the EBC Brake-In surface coating. This specialized red coating conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process, ensuring optimal contact and performance sooner. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic compound, Redstuff pads require a patient bed-in period of approximately 1,000 miles to fully conform to the brake rotor profile and achieve maximum efficiency.
