EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans, offering a significant reduction in brake dust while improving stopping power. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high-friction bite even from a cold start, maintaining a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 as temperatures rise. Unlike semi-metallic pads, Redstuff contains no steel fibers, resulting in dust that is 60-90% reduced and non-corrosive to alloy wheels.

Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles to achieve full contact with the rotor surface.
