EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for fast street use and premium sedans, providing a significant upgrade over factory friction material. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. The result is a pad that provides strong cold bite and remains stable under repeated heavy braking, proven to stop vehicles significantly shorter than OEM pads from high speeds.

Designed for the driver who wants a cleaner vehicle, the Redstuff compound reduces dust by approximately 50-90% compared to traditional pads. Because the material contains no steel fiber particles, any minimal dust generated is easily removed with a simple sponge wash and will not etch into your wheel finish. Each pad set features EBC's Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that due to the hard-wearing nature of this ceramic material, full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to fully conform to the brake rotor shape.
