EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium hatchbacks, offering significant improvements in stopping power and cleanliness over factory equipment. This synthetic fiber-based compound is reinforced with ceramic particles to provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, proven to reduce stopping distances by up to 13 meters from 100 mph compared to original equipment. Unlike semi-metallic pads, the Redstuff compound contains no steel fibers, resulting in 60-90% less dust that is easily removed during a standard wash without etching the wheel finish.
