EBC Brakes Redstuff is a high-performance ceramic-enhanced synthetic fiber compound designed for premium street use and heavy sedans. This compound is engineered to solve the common issue of brake dust, offering a 60-90% reduction compared to standard semi-metallic pads. Because the material contains no steel fiber particles, any minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily washed off without damaging wheel finishes.

These pads provide a firm pedal feel with a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5. They are designed to improve stopping distances, potentially reducing them by up to 13 meters from 100 mph compared to OE pads. Each pad features EBC's signature Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the initial bedding-in process. Note that Redstuff is a hard-wearing compound and may require up to 1,000 miles for full bed-in to reach maximum performance.
