EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic-enhanced brake pads are engineered specifically for heavy-braking passenger cars and spirited street driving. This synthetic fiber-based compound is reinforced with ceramic particles to provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, delivering superior stopping power compared to OE pads. The formula is completely free of steel fiber particles, which significantly reduces brake dust by 60% to 90% and ensures that any remaining dust is non-corrosive and easy to wash off.

To ensure a safe and effective break-in period, these pads feature the EBC Brake-In surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that Redstuff is a hard-wearing material; full bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles to properly conform to the rotor shape.
