EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic Brake Pads are engineered for high-performance street driving and heavy premium sedans. This synthetic fiber compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to provide a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while significantly reducing brake dust by 60% to 90% compared to standard semi-metallic pads. Because the formula contains no steel fibers, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and can be easily removed with a simple wash.

Designed for repeated heavy braking, Redstuff pads offer a strong cold bite that improves as the brakes reach operating temperature. Each pad set features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bed-in process. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require up to 1,000 miles to fully bed-in to the rotor surface for maximum contact.
