EBC Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium driving, offering a significant upgrade over factory semi-metallic compounds. These pads feature a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, designed to deliver a high nominal friction coefficient of 0.5 while producing roughly 50% less dust than traditional pads. The non-steel fiber construction ensures that any remaining dust is non-corrosive and easily removed during routine cleaning.
Designed to provide consistent stopping power from cold, Redstuff pads maintain excellent thermal stability as they heat up, making them ideal for repeated heavy braking on spirited road drives. Each pad includes the EBC Brake-In™ red surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding-in process for immediate performance. Note that as a hard-wearing ceramic material, these pads may require up to 1,000 miles to fully bed to the rotor surface.
