EBC Brakes GD Sport rotors are engineered to solve the heat and gas buildup problems common in heavy-duty or performance driving. Cast from OE-spec grey iron in EBC’s own UK foundry, these rotors feature wide-aperture slots that draw cool air under the brake pad surface while simultaneously ejecting dust, dirt, and debris. This maintains a clean friction interface and significantly reduces brake fade under load or at high speeds.

Unlike through-drilled rotors that are prone to stress cracking, the GD Sport series utilizes blind-drilled dimples to provide essential degassing for pad resins without compromising the rotor's structural integrity. Each rotor is gold-anodized for corrosion resistance and meticulously tested for tensile strength, grain structure, and runout to ensure a perfect bolt-on installation.
