EBC Brakes Redstuff ceramic pads are designed for high-performance street use and heavy premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is reinforced with ceramic particles to deliver a high 0.5 nominal friction coefficient while reducing brake dust by 60-90% compared to standard pads. Because the formula contains no steel fiber particles, the minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and easily removed with a simple sponge wash.
Equipped with EBC’s proprietary Brake-In surface coating, these pads condition the rotor surface and accelerate the bed-in process. While Redstuff is a hard-wearing material that requires a patient bedding period (up to 1,000 miles), it provides superior stopping power from cold and maintains exceptional thermal stability during repeated heavy braking.
