EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are engineered for high-performance street use and premium sedans. This synthetic fiber-based compound is enhanced with ceramic particles to deliver a nominal friction coefficient of 0.5, providing superior stopping power while reducing brake dust by approximately 50% compared to OE semi-metallic pads. Unlike many performance compounds, Redstuff offers a strong cold bite that remains effective and consistent as temperatures rise during spirited driving.
Each pad features EBC’s proprietary Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Because Redstuff is a hard-wearing ceramic material, drivers should expect a bed-in period of up to 1,000 miles for optimal performance.
