EBC Brakes Redstuff Ceramic brake pads are the premier choice for fast street driving and premium performance vehicles. Constructed from a synthetic fiber-based compound enhanced with ceramic particles, these pads are engineered to provide high-friction performance with a nominal coefficient of 0.5. They deliver strong initial bite from cold and maintain superior fade resistance as temperatures increase during spirited driving.

A primary benefit of the Redstuff compound is its significantly reduced dust output—typically 50-90% less than standard semi-metallic pads. The minimal dust produced is non-abrasive and lacks steel fiber particles, making it much easier to remove from wheels. Each pad includes EBC’s Brake-In™ surface coating, which conditions the rotor surface and accelerates the bedding process. Note that these hard-wearing pads may require up to 1,000 miles of driving to reach full bed-in and conform to the brake rotor shape.
